A review of the main results of the International Conference on socio cultural aspects of the problem of Russia’s national security. It was attended by more than 150 experts from 40 organizations in Russia, China and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The reports and speeches of the participants were considered current threats to the national security of Russia and other countries, and the role of socio-cultural factors to counter these threats. It is shown that increasing the role of culture in the context of national security concerns.
