In the article we examined noticed from the end of ХХth century uncontrolled spread of individual’s personal information. Shown the danger of this phenomenon for human rights and life, protection of reputation, family and personal secrets, privacy of correspondence and telephone calls. Negative examples of effects after the spread of such information are shown. The attention is focused on the fact that nowadays humanity cannot control the information streams. It is offered to implement a thoughtful approach to resolve the mentioned problem and outline the certain ways of legal regulation of information space and circulation of information about a person.
